TRIVIA NIGHT
Our Annual Trivia Night is scheduled for Saturday 21st November. Not only is it a great night ot, it is also the main fundraiser for the school.
In recent years we have been fortunate to have the generous support from parents, local traders, businesses, and our school community contributing to the success of the Trivia Nights. Funds raised from these and other special events have enabled us to install synthetic turf in the playground and commence the upgrade of the top oval. This year's fundraising will enable the completion of the top oval project and provide support for curriculum programs - specifically in the Information communication and Technology area.
Donations and commitments can be made to our Trivia Night Fundraising Coordinator, Jacqui Hossack on 9898 4222.

Thinkers of the World Unite
This is the host blog for a thinking community of open minded and thought provoking students.
Students contributing will be part of a vibrant Web 2.0 community committed to expanding their minds through the use of philisophical questions presented in a variety of forms. The questions are usually presented as part of a video link, that can be watched individually or in a group. Some questions are more abstract thinking where concepts are drawn together by students. They may also be presented through websites or quotes, it depends on the focus.
We hope to expand everyone’s ability to analyse and elaborate on questions that affect all of us.
By connecting to this blog we will create a community of thinkers. You will be able to read the entries of other students and discuss them in your class. As the blogs evolve and you improve your individual ability to analyse questions, the community will continue to expand your ideas. This is a key concept of the Web 2.0 community, to engage a wide audience that communicate and expand on each others ideas.
Let us begin with a philosophical saying: "If a man who cannot count finds a four-leaf clover, is he lucky? " ~Stanislaw J. Lec
Student musings on these questions will be linked to their classroom blogs.
