A fantastic effort from the entire GPS swim team. It came down to the last relay race as we were 1 point behind Mont Albert at that point. In the 2 heats for the last relay, Greythorn clocked the 2^nd fastest time, with Mont Albert clocking the 5^th fastest time, enabling us to leapfrog them and win the carnival by 5 points. Go GPS!
Quite a few of the students have now qualified to swim in the Division Competition. Good luck to them all. Thank you to Mme Joyce & Mr Mays for attending today to assist throughout the event. A big thank you to Mrs Deckert for organising and coordinating the team as it takes a great deal of work to place students in respective races based on their results from the House Swimming Carnival.
