Literacy Learning in Foundation

Foundation students have been developing their phonological awareness through their work with the InitialLit program.

With only 12 weeks of schooling, the students in these groups are being guided to utilise their skills and knowledge in reading and writing. These guided reading sessions are used in our Literacy sessions and provide students opportunities to work at their point of need and on predetermined, specific learning goals.
